Automotive Mechanic / Service Technician

$30–$37 / hr

Full-Time · Kamloops, BC

Licensed or experienced automotive mechanic to diagnose, service and repair vehicles in a busy, well-equipped Kamloops shop. Full-time, year-round work with pay based on experience and certification.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair engine, brake, suspension, steering and electrical systems
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, inspections and fluid services
  • Handle tire installs, alignments and seasonal changeovers
  • Road-test vehicles and document repairs accurately
  • Keep the bay clean, organized and safe

Requirements

  • Red Seal Automotive Service Technician, or 3rd/4th-year apprentice with strong experience
  • Valid BC driver's license and clean driving abstract
  • Diagnostic skills across domestic and import vehicles
  • Own tools an asset (tool allowance available)
  • Reliable, punctual and a team player
